 THE TRIPLE BUNK BEDS

Was this project a bit ambitious? Yes! Was it worth it? Yes! I designed this triple bunk bed to make sure the focus was making sure this shared kids bedroom would be as big as possible. I was really able to provide individual space, floor space for playing, a platform for imaginations to roam, as well as storage. My main focus on this was maximizing every inch of the room. One of my favorite challenges in this design was really the full bed at the bottom. I have never been a fan of the visual balance of a twin over full. So to blend it together I chose to wrap around the stair railing and to continue the main headboard all the way down. To gain more floor space for playing I opted for drawers in the steps, this allowed me to get rid of the dresser. Since this is a shared girls room I couldn’t resist a fun collage wall with a classic neon, complimentary soft colored pattern linens and matching scones.
